As the summer days fade to fall so do the colours of one of my favourite flowers......hydrangeas. These delicate puffs of floral delight have the amazing ability to change with the seasons. Like little celebrations they go from early lime greens, yellows and whites bobbing their newly emerged heads in the summer breezes to kisses of crimson blush as the days shorten and the heat begins to fade. Heralding the onset of fall and all its comforting hues these flowers speak to my heart reminding me of all the wonderful festivities to come.
